My goodness, half a year has gone since my last update..I’m terribly sorry, though come to think of it who would read this boring blog of mine.
As you know, I started my career in the engineering sector exactly 1 year ago this day!!, time really flies, and it seems as though I just started yesterday. The career path has not been smooth sailing I must admit, but I do cherish the challenges and opportunity to fly as career man instead of my wanderlust travelling flights. Nonetheless, I am at a crossroad, and honestly am not exactly sure what path it’s going to lead to.
Anyway, my hobby has also taken a back seat these past few months and the Nikon has been sitting idle in the dry cab itching to crawl out and enjoy the golden hours of the skies or smell of sea salt in the beaches. Call it complacent or just plain laziness, I am getting rusty and this has to stop definitely. Partially, its due to my work hours which kinda prohibit me to enjoy that magical hours and also because I’m trying to chase something else to keep my life more complete at work and fulfill my target of getting the one soon 🙂 .
Coming back to topic, I have to sincerely apologetically raise my arms in somber mood as I promised an update but didn’t do it. Well, I hope these series of pictures taken in the past 6 months make up for the lost posts. Most are backlogged and still unedited, and I’m trying to find the time to catch up on these soon.
A brief chronological order of events that transpired these few month. Early of this year nothing special happened, but I was stoked as one of my very close cousin, finally got hitched to her beau. It was a magical wedding and I congratulate her and wish her years of blissful marriage and children. And I also finally visited the land of giant scrappers and desert in the Arabian peninsula. I was stoked to see that World’s tallest sky scrapper and as a landscape photographer it was just mesmerising. Words can’t describe the scene I saw and I’ll let my photos do the talking.

End of the Road
A section of the ECP/AYE now going to be forever remove from history. This stretch is quite a scenic route as it transits from the east into the financial district. Roads come and go but photos will forever be there.
[ Fading ]
The Fading light, bright, glowing, distant and diminishing, running away from us… to re appear the in our lives the next day.
Congrats to Both… May they be showered with a long lasting marriage and happiness.

[Sheik Zayed Grand Mosque] – Abu Dhabi, UAE -This grand mosque is a sight to behold. A magnificent piece of muslim architecture which is inspired by the Mughal Taj Mahal added with Arabian essence. One simply has to walk the halls and stand near its minaret to truly embrace the beauty of this working mosque and what it stands for, God/Allah. Abit of uneven polarization in this picture due to polariser effect. But nonetheless, I’m pleased with the blueness of the sky. Abit rusty in my post technique finally get to practice on this piece after months of inactivity/hiatus. Stay tune for more Arab epicness.
[Emerald Al-Arab] -Burj Al-Arab Hotel – The world or Dubai’s eminent 7*star hotel. When I first wanted to visit Dubai, this was one of the first images, I envisage and had to get a shot of. Truly a mesmerising place with the architecture of the old souks in the background and the grandiouse Burj Al-Arab in the back. Had to do alot of recovery and colour correction with this one, As the place I shot this did not allow tripod, so had to stand still and place my cam on an unsteady ledge. Still trying out this new post technique, do comment if you have any.
[Al-Souk] – One of the nice architecture reminiscing of the old Dubai architecture. These souks were redesign and built to mimic the old design but in a new modern environment, called a Mall. LoL wonders of modernisation, everything is either a shopping mall, food court or skyscraper.
[The Burj Khalifa] – Sheik Zayed Road A majestic view of the Burj Khalifa/Dubai in the blue hour. This view has got to be personally viewed to really comprehend just how tall the Burj is. With the busy, SHeik Zayan highway intersection below, just a nice juxtapose to the tall Khalifa.
Ok Folks, this is only Part 1 of the updates… Will break this into another post, which I’ll post definitely soon…. Remember to visit my page and give it a like will ya…
